Everything happens for a reason

Why, oh why

I have a point of view, it might not be the same as yours, your view might look out on the calm tranquility of the ocean, or perhaps your view sees the junk of humanity flouting around in a pool of fish carcasses just below the surface. My view is of the other people sitting around on the beach looking towards the horizon.

Simply put, I enjoy studying people, especially peoples interaction with their children and here in you will find my point of view on these interactions.

Now I know that I'm as far from a Parenting Expert as Gundi is from a Mass Murderer, and I will state here and now that you are fully entitled to your point of view (but that means so am I). I welcome any counter arguments as none of us are perfect and all of us can learn from each other.

My Credentials are as follows:

  • I'm a Mother (nothing gets my goat as much as unsolicited advice from non-parents to actual parents)

  • My son is 10, amazing, smart and all round lovable! (this is not only my opinion, I have written testimonies to his awesomeness! (or i can get some in a pinch))

  • I have been divorced and am now extremely happily married again

  • The biological father is no longer in the picture (his loss) but his REAL dad is 100% there (real as in everything but a blood tie)

  • We are geeks, utterly and apologetically geeky

Stay a while, see if you agree or disagree...
