My reasoning

I have been going round and round on the topic of my first post, I wanted to do an introduction but that's why there is an About page now isn't it?

So I have decided to explain my thought process and hopefully it will make sens to you.

I'm that friend, the one everyone seems to look too for advice, this is likely due to the fact that I shoot straight and if shooting is ineffective I'll likely stab you in the cold hard truth of the matter. This also means that people tend to vanish from my life for long periods of time as they aren't always ready to hear the truth.

My biggest gripe is that even though I readily give the advice they ask for, odds are that they will agree and see all the commonsense I lay at their feet and do sweet blue buggerol with it. I get that sometimes you want someone to simply agree with you and say that you are right even though you know you're not. If that is the case you have likely turned to the wrong friend for advice. However if you truly need help or a fresh perspective and guidance then I'm your girl.

So back to the reason for this blog. I need to get my meaning out there, even if it simply goes into the deep dark abyss of Blogs of Years Past. If you do happen to stumble onto this blog this is what you are in for...here you will find advice on raising children, dealing with parenting hurdles and enjoying time with your kids. You'll likely read a lot of sarcastic rants, frustrated hair pulling and the odd days of amazement all from My point of view...
